Unfortunately our situation has not much changed over the past several months. Corona Virus restrictions have made it very difficult to operate normally, so we are still handling all surrenders, adoptions, and veterinary services by strict appointment only. We still do not have enough staff on hand to answer our phones, so below is a list of services, links and options. Updated Information – With the news about coronavirus (COVID-19) changing rapidly, Animal Shelter Inc (ASI)and our on-site low cost veterinary clinic – Sterling Shelter Clinic (SSC) – thankfully took precautions early to help prevent the spread of this virus in our community and to keep our staff/volunteers and visitors safe. Sadly, this meant closing the shelter, changing many of the shelter’s daily operations (which when we re-open will include changing over to conducting adoptions by appointment – we are still ironing out the details), getting all shelter pets out of the shelter in to foster or to have been adopted,...

Virtual Adoption Process & Keeping Us All Safe

In the coming week/s, when our shelter starts accepting surrenders and transports, all of our adoptable animals will be up for adoption. It’s easier now than ever to find your next family member.
